Coin tin or Save jar?

Two places for savings, and how they help

Level 2: Saving smart · from age 6 · 3 minutes · 3 Kesho Stars

The story

Nafula keeps her coins in an old cocoa tin. Her cousin Amani keeps his savings in his myKesho Save jar.

The big idea

A tin holds real coins you can shake and count. The Save jar shows your savings in the app, and a grown-up looks after the real money.

Ask at home

Count your child’s coin tin together, then decide if some of it should go into the Save jar.

The full lesson, with its questions and Kesho Stars, is in the myKesho kids app.
