Free gifts that aren’t free
Fake prizes, free gems and password traps
The story
Musa is playing his favourite game. A pop-up says: “FREE 10,000 gems! Just log in here with your password.”
The big idea
Real prizes don’t ask you to pay first, or to type a password, PIN or a parent’s phone number on a strange page.
Ask at home
Ask your child to show you a game or app they use, and look together for anything that could be a fake offer.
The full lesson, with its questions and Kesho Stars, is in the myKesho kids app.
