The story
Mutua’s game shop shows two packs: 100 gems for KES 100, or 500 gems for KES 400 with a big sign, “BEST VALUE!” and a timer counting down.
The big idea
Games use bright signs, countdown timers and odd numbers of gems so that you buy more than you need. Gems are made to leave you with a few left over.
