Prices too good to be true
How to spot a fake shop online
The story
Juma sees a TikTok video: “New football boots, only KES 500! Send money first, we deliver tomorrow.” In town the same boots cost KES 4,000.
The big idea
When a price is far below every other shop, it’s usually a trick. Fake shops take the money and never send anything.
Ask at home
Look at a deal online together and ask your child what makes it look real or fake.
