Keep your PIN safe
Never share your PIN. If someone asks for it, say no and tell a grown-up.
How to do it
- 1
Keep your PIN in your head. Don’t write it where others can see.
- 2
Never tell your PIN to anyone, not even your friends.
- 3
If someone asks for it, say no.
- 4
Tell a grown-up you trust straight away.
- 5
Think someone knows your PIN? Change it: tap Me, then Change next to My sign-in PIN.
Nobody from myKesho will ever ask for your PIN. Not on a call, not on WhatsApp, not by SMS.
Sharing a phone? When you finish, tap Switch at the top. Then nobody else can open your money without your PIN.
Something feels wrong? Talk to your parent or another grown-up you trust. Telling a grown-up is always the right thing to do.
On Me, look for Someone asked for your PIN? It reminds you what to do.
