Birthday reminders and the party
Add the day they were born to get a reminder a week before. On the day they get Kesho Stars and a party.
Steps

Open Kids and tap your child’s card.

Next to their age group, tap Add birthday (or Edit if it’s there).

Pick the day, month and year, and tap Save birthday.
- 4
A week before, look for the reminder on Home. Tap it to open their page and share their gift link.
Reminders need the day. If you only gave the month and year when you added them, their page asks you to add their birthday.
On the day
- Your child gets 10 Kesho Stars and a party in their app, from age 6.
- You get a happy birthday note on Home.
- On their 6th birthday, the note says they can have their own app. See What each age group gets, and turning 6.
- The Kids page shows Birthday in a few days, or Birthday today!, for two weeks before.
Birthdays are a good time to raise the allowance or set a birthday goal together.
Questions
I don’t know the exact day for an older record.
Month and year are enough for their age group. You just won’t get the reminder.
Do relatives get a reminder?
No. Only parents in your family. Send them the gift link yourself.
