Save together with a family goal
Pick something the whole family wants. The kids add from Save, you add too, and everyone watches it fill.
Steps

Open Kids and scroll to Saving together. Tap Family goal.

Tap an idea like A family TV or Trip upcountry, or type it under What are you saving for?.

Type How much is it? and tap Start saving together. Every child gets a note.

To add your part, tap the goal, type an amount under Add your part and tap Add.

When it’s full, buy it, then tap the goal and We bought it.
- 6
Changed your mind? Tap the goal and Stop this goal.
Kids add to it from their Save jar in the kids app. Each child’s part stays in their Save, set aside, until you mark it bought. Tap the goal to see who put in what.
When it’s reached
You get a note, and every child who added gets 5 Kesho Stars and a celebration. We bought it takes each child’s part out of their Save. Stop this goal frees their parts in Save again.
- You can run up to 3 family goals at once.
- A family goal needs at least KES 100.
- Your part is your own money. myKesho just keeps the count.
Questions
Can a child take their part back?
Not while the goal is open. Stop the goal and everyone’s part is free in Save again.
Do under-6s take part?
Family goals show every child, but little ones don’t have the app to add from. You can add for the family with Add your part.
